NC Education Lottery Introducing New Instant Games, 7 Chances to Win $1MM, One to Win $4MM
Staff Report. January 9, 2012. RALEIGH, NC – A new instant game that goes on sale Tuesday called $4,000,000 Cash Blowout, will give players seven chances to win $1 million and three chances to win the game’s top prize of $4 million.
The $20 game is played by matching any of 20 numbers with one of eight winning numbers. If a player reveals a “dollar” symbol, they win the corresponding prize instantly. Revealing a “$100 burst” symbol wins $100 instantly. Players who reveal a “moneybag” symbol win five times the prize shown and those who reveal a “cash bundle” symbol win 10 times the prize shown. More than $104 million in prizes can be won in the game, including more than 700,000 prizes between $40 and $400.
Two other new games will also go on sale.
Fast Cash Bingo is a $3 bingo-style game with more than $6 million in total prizes, including six top prizes of $30,000. It also offers more than 48,000 chances to win $25 to $100. The game features four bingo cards where players use the “caller’s card” numbers to try to get numbers in a full line horizontally, vertically, diagonally or in all four corners. Players who match eight numbers to create a “complete X” wins $150 to $30,000. Players who reveal a “Fast Cash” symbol win $25 instantly.
Triple Payout! is a $1 game featuring a top prize of $3,000. Players scratch off their play area and if they reveal three like amounts, they win that prize. If players reveal two like amounts and a “$$$” symbol, they win triple the amount shown. More than 63,000 prizes between $9 and $75 can be won in the game.
