Lottery Introduces Three New Games, Including NASCAR "Ultimate Fan"
Staff Report. February 2, 2012. RALEIGH – One of three new N.C. Education Lottery games is an officially licensed NASCAR® scratch-off ticket called "Ultimate Fan", giving players five chances to win $100,000 instantly.
NASCAR® Ultimate Fan
The $5 game starts with more than $7.5 million in instant prizes and overall odds of winning of 1 in 3.84. Non-winning "Ultimate Fan" tickets can be entered into second chance drawings. Two winners for each of three drawings will get to choose from three $20,000 fan experiences, all of which include an ultimate driving school experience:
- The first option begins with a five day, four night trip to the winner’s choice of a NASCAR® sanctioned race. Once there, the winner will get VIP track access, and see all the action from Club level seating and stay in a luxury hotel suite.
- The second option will also revolve around a trip to the winner’s choice of a NASCAR® sanctioned race. At the raceway, the winner will enjoy VIP track access and infield luxury motor coach accommodations for four days and three nights.
- The third option will feature a six day, five night trip to Las Vegas for a once-in-a-lifetime VIP experience at the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards Ceremony™.
Crossword Cash Multiplier
Another ticket on sale Tuesday is a $3 game called Crossword Cash Multiplier. The game’s extended play style allows players to discover if they have matched three or more complete words to win between $3 and $30,000. Players who scratch the “Multiplier Bonus” and reveal a “2X” or “5X” game symbol win two or five times the winning prize amount. With overall odds of winning of 1 in 4.35, the game contains more than $6 million in prizes.
Lucky Clover
Lucky Clover is a $2 game featuring more than $4.5 million in prizes, including five top prizes of $20,000. The ticket has a St. Patrick’s Day theme where players scratch off play areas that resemble horseshoes. If they reveal a “clover” symbol, they win the prize shown. If they reveal a gold bar, they win double the prize for that symbol. If they reveal a “pot o’ gold” symbol, they win all ten prizes.
