BLOWING ROCK, NC Read more... -- Commissioners asked questions about project details, but with a 3-1 vote approved Appalachian Regional Healthcare System's (ARHS) request for a conditional use permit (CUP) allowing the construction of Phase I and Phase II of a new post acute care and skilled nursing facility in Blowing Rock.

McCrory Announces Development of Innovation Center

February 26, 2013. BLOWING ROCK -- The Town of Blowing Rock will attend an Intergovernmental Meeting in conjunction with Watauga County, Appalachian State University, and the Towns of Beech Mountain, Boone and Seven Devils on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the 5th floor lobby of the ASU Athletic Center (Kidd Brewer Stadium) located at 425 Jack Branch Drive, Boone, NC.  Presentations will be given by the High Country United Way Vision Councils.

BLOWING ROCK -- The Town of Blowing Rock Board of Commissioners will attend their annual retreat beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 20th, Monday, January 21st, and Tuesday, January 22nd, 2013 at the DoubleTree Inn, located at 115 Hendersonville Road in Asheville, NC.  The purpose of the retreat is to review accomplishments achieved in 2012 and to discuss priorities and plans for action in the year 2013.
