Dear Editor and Citizens of Blowing Rock:

I want to thank all the Blowing Rock citizens who attended the candidate’s forum Tuesday night.  The platform allowed me the opportunity to introduce myself and give the voting public some insight into my thoughts and visions for Blowing Rock.  Many of you approached me after the forum to offer your encouragement and support.  I cannot express how much those simple gestures meant to me.

Our town is very unique and its path into the future needs to be very carefully planned and earnestly guarded.  As I stated Tuesday, Blowing Rock can be progressive without losing its charming character.

In closing, I would like to encourage all eligible citizens to vote on Tuesday, November 8, 2011.  Whether you are voting for me or my opponents, let your voice be heard.
