Tonight's Town Council Meeting Moved to BRAHM
A town administrative employee told Blowing Rock News that the decision was made to move the meeting due to the number of people anticipated to attend tonight's meeting.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

- CUP 2011-06 Subway. Public Hearing to consider a conditional use permit request from Chris Ebaugh of Stonetree Development, Inc. to renovate the construction office of Ebco Builders at 8433 Valley Blvd. and convert the space to a Subway restaurant. The subject property is zoned GB, General Business.
- Town Code Amendment – Weapons on Town Property Ordinance #2012-01). Public hearing to receive comments on an amendment to Chapter 15 of the Town Code regarding weapons on town property to bring the code into compliance with recently modified state statutes. The amendment would maintain restrictions on gun possession at Memorial Park, Davant Field and Robbins Swimming Pool.
- N.C. Park & Recreation Trust Fund - Grant Application (Resolution #2012-01). Public hearing to consider a resolution authorizing the filing of a grant application to the N.C. Park & Recreation Trust Fund for American Legion Building Improvements.

- U.S. Park Service - Corporate Offer to Exchange Real Property (Resolution #2012-02). Consideration of a resolution authorizing a Corporate Offer to Exchange Real Property with the U.S Park Service in order to acquire the Town Water Reservoir.

- Consolidated Communications Center (Resolution #2012-03). Consideration of a resolution approving the concept of a Watauga County consolidated communications center.
- 2. Watauga County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazardous Mitigation Plan (Resolution #2012-04). Consideration of a resolution approving the 2010 Multi-Jurisdictional Hazardous Mitigation Plan Update.
- 3. Tax Refund - #2011-01. Consideration of a property tax refund request per general statutes.

In deference to all who wish to speak, each speaker will be asked to limit his or her comments to no more than three (3) minutes.
