BUSTED: Undercover Officers Purchase 3,000+ "Hits" of LSD from Boone Man LSD

Staff Report. February 14, 2012. BOONE -- Watauga County Sheriff Len Hagaman reported to Blowing Rock News this afternoon that Nicholas Jonathan Parks, 29, of Clint Lewis Road in Boone, was arrested on February 10 on drug charges.

Parks was arrested and charged with six counts of trafficking Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) and two counts of maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance. These charges stemmed from an operation which began in December of 2011 and concluded on Friday February 10^th, 2012. During the operation officers were able to purchase over 3000 hits of LSD from Parks, with 1200 hits of LSD being purchased in December 2011 and the other 1800 hits of LSD being purchased in 2012.

The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are expected.
