Founders Society Membership
The Blowing Rock News Founders Society was formed to provide regular readers of the News an opportunity to be a part of the publication’s growth and on-going development.
Subscriptions to Blowing Rock News and access to its content are free. Membership in the Founders Society is completely voluntary. We will set aside a significant portion of Founders Society membership fees for reinvestment back into the community through the publication's sponsorship of special events and scholarship programs.
There are four levels of Society membership:
- Gold Member - $50 (individual)
- Platinum Member - $150 (individual)
- Diamond Member - $275 (a couple from the same household)
Gold Members receive a membership card, receive a commemorative gift for each year of membership, qualify for special offers and discounts from participating partners (as available), and qualify for access to a limited number of selected special events (as available).
Platinum and Diamond Members receive a membership card, receive a commemorative gift (two for Diamond members) during each year of membership, qualify for special offers and discounts from participating partners (as available), and qualify for access to all BRN-selected special events, including premium events (as available).
The 2011 commemorative gift is a custom-designed coffee mug that will be personalized for each member.
NOTE: Click on the attachment at the bottom of this page to see the artwork for the 2011 commemorative coffee mug!
We are always looking for partnership arrangements with prospective business and event partners, to increase the value proposition to our members. If you are an event organizer or business owner, please contact us with an idea for making an offer to our Society membership or arranging for our special event participation.
