By David Rogers. February 11, 2012. BOONE -- Appalachian State jumped out to an 11-2 lead just four minutes into the game and never looked back in thumping UNC-Greensboro, 79-60, before the biggest crowd (952) of the year at the Holmes Convocation Center on Saturday.

Junior forward Anna Freeman enjoyed among the best statistical games of her collegiate career, including 10 rebounds (game-high), 18 points, three steals (game-high), six assists (game-high), and one block, while committing only one turnover. Guard Courtney Freeman, also a junior, contributed 19 points (game-high), with emerging freshman star Maryah Sydnor adding 14.

UNCG's Jazz Headley had a team-high 13 points, while Natalie Headley tallied 10 points while playing 36 minutes.
