The kickoff to North Carolina's original and most successful competition dining event, featuring Michael Barbato from Chetola Mountain Resort & Spa (2011 Fire on the Rock champion), Blowing Rock, vs. Nate Allen from Knife & Fork, Spruce Pine (Winner, WNC Chef's Challenge and Cooking Light's "2011 Small Town Chef Award"), vs. Stan Chamberlain from Crippen's, Blowing Rock (2011 "Top Three" in Best Dish NC).
